This Thursday: MEC Backcountry Workshop N. Van

MEC hosts a Backcountry Workshop in their North Vancouver store on Thurs, November 20. This is a free 2-hour, evening presentation delivered by an avalanche professional or an Avalanche Canada Forecaster on avalanche awareness open to any backcountry recreationist. This is a great pre-season tune-up where you can refresh your skills or learn new ones. Plus a sneak peak at our new website and Mountain Information Network.
